Captain America The Legend of Heros

Boston (eCanadaNow) - Superhero Captain AMerica has been killed off after 66 years of being in US comic books.

Captain America appeared in the Captain America comic book which started back in 1941.

The character was initially created to build up patriotism during World War II.

The co-creator of the character Joe Simons tated that “It’s a hell of a tim for him to go, we really need him now.”

Captain America may not be dead in the water just yet though as the publisher Marvel Entertainment has already stated that they are in development of a feature-film based on the prestigous character.

The editor-in-chief of the comic Joe Quesada has also not stated that Captain America could not be brought back to life in the future. The door will always be open it seems and with the track record that he has, why not?

Marvel has sold more than 200 million copies of Captain America magazine in 75 countries around the world.
