Ogre Exaggerated
The Story behind the Stories
Theme: The Stories and adventures that have many versions and variations of exaggerations.
Theme breakdown: Everyone has their own versions of how a certain story has transpired. Everyone’s main goal is the wants and needs to gain any positive reaction that they can, from those who are willing to listen. These emotions and reactions have a powerful influence of energy to the individual who is telling this story, and therefore, this individual storyteller will try to tell his or her audience the next “great” story. These stories will be told to many others and this will hopefully illustrate, to the new listeners how the adventures of the original storyteller’s tale had occurred. There is a great feeling of pride when a story is told well, and seems so believable that the spectators gain a new respect for what the narrator had experienced.
When stories are told there is usually the true format and then there is the format that is more interesting and entertaining. There are also stories that are already interesting, and can be told in a few sentences and then the even more elaborate tale that can be stretched to a few epic hours.
Storytelling and Artistic Breakdown: since there are so many characters in the world of Ogre Exaggerated there will be different versions of the way a story is told. There will also be a wide variety of how these stories are to be drawn. From poetically told tales and dynamic detailed art, to straight from the mouth, “tell you how it is” stories and child like, cartoon style drawings.
