Back

Ever wanted to live like a superhero? Until March 25, 2007, step into the incredible Marvel universe at the Ontario Science Centre and experience the powerful real-life science behind the comics.

Step into a suit of armour to lift a Mazda CX-7! Hang from a super-strong spider web! Go bionic... and create your own comics!

Meet more characters from the Marvel universe...
"Brings science to life in the most amazing way." -- Brian Feeley

Daredevil

"I'm not the bad guy, kid."
Without the ability to see, Daredevil's other senses are strengthened to sonic super powers! Close your eyes and navigate an alley, create an echo, balance on a teeter-board, use your nose to know, and identify ordinary objects using only touch.

The Amazing Spider-Man

"With great power comes great responsibility..."
Peter Parker has amazing spider-like abilities... scaling walls, spraying webs, and swinging from building to building! Test the tensile strength of new materials that mimic spider's silk, and climb a wall after 'shrinking' down to spider size.

Doctor Octopus

"The power of the Sun, in the palm of my hand!"
With steel robotic arms, Doctor Octopus' biomechanics display the power of prosthetics. Control one of Doc Ock's arms with a joystick and try to tie shoelaces with tongs and close a zipper.

Incredible Hulk

"Bash Hulk, Hulk bash back!"
Bruce Banner's emotions get the best of him. Understand what triggers emotional outbursts as you follow the Incredible Hulk's radioactive, green-skinned transformation.

Human Torch

"Flame on!"
The youngest member of the Fantastic Four, the Human Torch gained his fire-manipulating powers after exposure to cosmic rays. Learn how much heat your body emits with an IR camera.

Invisible Woman

"We are just ordinary people who fate selected to be made more than human."
Making herself and her surroundings invisible on command, this member of the Fantastic Four also generates force fields. Experience Motion-Induced Blindness... now you see her - now you don't!

Iron Man

"Crazy? That's entirely possible."
Iron Man's exoskeleton gives him superhuman strength and flight abilities! Put yourself in an exo-suit to lift an 1,800 kg Mazda CX-7, and learn about pulleys and levers.

Danger Room

Just like Banshee, fight villains with sonic waves! Learn about sound waves, ultrasound and sound weapons -- and how this superhero uses his powers to fly and shatter solid objects.

There's more than 30 action stations to explore! Here's what you can see and do:
