Double Cross, conspiracy, and people who know too much are all in this one, kinda like the entire TV series. When a building is bombed in downtown Dallas, Mulder and Scully discover that the victims who died in the blast were dead before the bomb went off, infected by an alien cancer deadlier that anything this planet has seen before. Our heroes chase clues across North America, meeting with people who have kept the truth of alien landings hidden for 50 years.
I found that this movie, although yielding a big budget, didn’t deliver the same impact that most of the TV shows did. Some of the ideas were inventive, but were nothing that we already hadn’t seen from the show. This was just an extra long episode with no commercials.
