Nancy Travis as Bernice

Nancy Travis, though cast against type, revels in the brash, mean-spirited voice she gives Bernice, Duckman's constantly harassing and humiliating sister-in-law, in Duckman, the USA Network animated adult comedy series from Klasky Csupo, Inc. and Reno and Osborn Productions in association with Paramount Domestic Television.
Currently Travis is starring in the CBS sitcom "Almost Perfect" which premiered in September 1995. Travis plays Kim Cooper, a brainy, successful television producer, who exudes savvy, sharpness and shrewd thinking, but still maintains a striking femininity and sensual charm.
Born and raised in New York City, Travis graduated from New York University with a degree in drama. Acting vrought her to Los Angeles, where her film debut in 1987 as the heartrending mother who left and then came back to "Three Men and A Baby" made an impressive mark.
Travis has since amassed a reputable slate of movie roles. She played the wily killer in "So I Married an Axe Murderer" with Mike Myers. She has also taken acclaimed turns in "The Vanishing," "Chaplin," "Internal Affairs," "Air America," "Married to the Mob," "Greedy" and the sequel "Three Men and a Little Lady." This past year she starred opposite Eric Stoltz in "Fluke," played a lead role in "Destiny Turns on the Radio" and co-starred with Whoopi Goldberg in Norman Jewison's upcoming film "Bogus."
Travis is a founding member of the theater troupe the Naked Angels and starred in their premiere production of "Avenue Boys." Her additional theatre experience includes two La Jolla Playhouse presentations, "Three Sisters" and "My Children, My Africa."
Duckman is carried on the USA Network. The series is produced by Klasky Csupo, Inc. and Reno and Osborn Productions in association with Paramount Domestic Television. Paramount Pictures is a part of the entertainment operations of Viacom Inc.
