Feb 25, 2005 - Duckman Season One SynopsesBack

"I, DUCKMAN" - Duckman questions his uniqueness as an individual and his ineffectiveness as a father while being stalked by a mad bomber seeking revenge. Guest voices include Jeffrey Jones, Charlie Shaughnessey, and Bruce Wietz.
"TV OR NOT TO BE" - While investigating the theft of a religious artifact at a television ministry, Duckman briefly "dies," encountering the hereafter. He meets the supreme being who gives him an Etch-A-Sketch with the meaning of life written on it. Guest starring Crispin Glover and Judith Ivy.
"GRIPES OF WRATH" - Inadvertently inspired by Duckman, a supercomputer solves all of the world's problem -- with disastrous results. Guest starring Charlie Shaughnessey.
"PSYCHE" - Duckman, wondering why he hasn't had a date since the death of his wife, tries plastic surgery. When that fails to make him feel more attractive (especially to a pair of voluptuous sex-starved twins who have hired him for a case), he tries hypnosis, taking a surprise journey through his own mind. Guest star Mitzi McCall.
"GLAND OF OPPORTUNITY" - Duckman's cowardice turns to courage when he receives an adrenal gland transplant from a famous daredevil, turning him into a questionable role model for his children.
"RIDE THE HIGH SCHOOL" - Duckman enrolls Ajax in an exclusive boarding school, unaware that it is part of an evil plan to over-educate him and alienate him from his own father. Featuring Tim Curry as King Chicken.
"A CIVIL WAR" - Where would Duckman and Cornfed be without each other? When Duckman fires his partner in the midst of a murder investigation, we find out. Guest voices include Michael McKean and Andrea Martin.
"NOT-SO-EASY RIDER" - Duckman and Cornfed take to the rode as bikers to flee a berserk IRS agent, learning a few things about materialism along the way. Guest voices include Bobcat Goldthwait and John Byner.
"IT'S THE THING OF THE PRINCIPAL" - Duckman and Bernice are thrilled when Ajax falls in love with someone at school, until they find out it's the beautiful new vice-principal. Duckman and Bernice go under cover (as man and wife) at a newlywed resort to stop Ajax from eloping with his new love. Guest voices include Molly Hagan, James Avery, Allyce Beasley and Teri Garr.
"AMERICAN DICKS" - A "cops"-like reality TV show profiles Duckman on a typical -- and typically humiliating -- case.
"CELLAR BEWARE" - Installed after a rash of burglaries in the neighborhood, Duckman's high-tech security system goes haywire, turning deadly and trapping the family in the basement. Guest stars include Judy Tenuta, John Astin, Sally Struthers and Kathy Najimy.
"ABOUT FACE" - For the first time since Beatrice, Duckman falls in love with a woman he meets over the phone -- but she turns out to be the ugliest woman in the world. Guest starring Lolita Davidovich.
"JOKING THE CHICKEN" - Duckman becomes increasingly crazed when a new, politically correct comedian's success makes all comedy kinder, gentler, and unfunny -- exactly what King Chicken, Duckman's arch-nemesis, hoped for. Featuring Tim Curry as King Chicken, guest voices include Eddie Deezen, David Paymer, Corey Parker, Tommy Davidson and Kevin Meaney.
