Drawing over 100,000 visitors, Toronto Ribfest is the city's largest Canada Day celebration. The Rotary Club of Etobicoke and the City of Toronto will bring visitors to Centennial Park a slew of family fun and entertainment throughout the three-day weekend. Opening ceremonies at 12:30pm on Saturday will be followed by live music, crafts, a chance to eat some of most succulent ribs and pulled pork sandwiches on the planet, chilling in the beer tents, as well as a carnival (pony rides!) for the kids.

Fireworks after dusk (starting at about 10pm) will end Saturday evening with some major flash and bang. Bring a blanket and find yourselves a nice spot on the hill, and if possible, leave the car at home! For detailed location and scheduling information, please visit the Toronto Ribfest official web site.

Centennial Park is also home to a fantastic greenhouse, an outdoor go-karts circuit, mini-putt, driving range and public golf course, as well as walking trails and various public sports facilities. Whether you're coming with your family or your friends, there's plenty to do!
